一台旧电脑，windows me，需要安装php运行环境，网上找xampp的集成安装包（集成了apache,php,mysql等），在oldapps.com上找到适合windows me系统的，下载了
xampp-win32-1.4.5.exe http://www.oldapps.com/xampp.php?system=Windows_Me
解压，依次运行setup_xampp，xampp_start，出错了，单独启动apache_start
得到以下错误信息：
"(OS 10038)Socket operation on non-socket: make_sock: for address 0.0.0.0:80,
apr_socket_opt_set: (SO_KEEPALIVE)
google结果：
1、防火墙问题
2、端口被占用
3、winsock2损坏
排除故障：
① firewall被排除，没听说win me还带fw的，
② 换了apache端口，启动，故障依旧，排除端口被占用问题，
③ 多方寻找winsock2 fix方案，终于http://www.vcn.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=266得到。
④ 修复了winsock 2后，安装了tcp/ip协议，apache和xampp就可以工作了。
Windows 98/ME winsock 2修复方案如下：
If your Windows 98/ME computer cannot view web pages and is getting DNS errors, you may have to remove and reinstall Winsock2. Note: this is a drastic step and should only be tried after trying other troubleshooting options, e.g. clearing cookies, deleting all Internet temporary files, clearing the browser history and reinstalling the TCP/IPprotocol. You must also have access to the windows 98 installation CD and the network card drivers install CD or floppy.
To reinstall Winsock2
1 Right-click Network Neighborhood.
2 Select Properties.
3 Highlight the offending network card. Click Remove.
4 Remove the TCP/IP protocol from the card if it does not disappear with the network card entry. Click Ok. Do NOT reboot yet.
5 Right-click My Computer and select Properties >Hardware > Device Manager.
6 Verify that the network card is gone. Do NOT reboot yet.
7 Click Start > Run, enter regedit and click OK.
8 Navigate to the key HKLM\System\Current Control Set\Services\VXD
9 Delete both the WINSOCK entry and WINSOCK2entry.
10 Navigate to the key HKLM\System\Current Control Set\Services.
11 Delete the WINSOCK and WINSOCK2 entries there as well.
12 Exit regedit and reboot the system.
13 On reboot Windows will find the network card again. Reinstall the driver and Windows files when request.
