Same with some hackers want to communicate without knowing others what they are talking about.
It has been evolved in mid-1992 as a response to postings repeating urban myths on alt.folklore.urban, after some posters complained that "Sheesh!" as a response to newcomers was being overused.
So lets us start:
ROT-5 is the easiest Hash to crypt and also easier to decrypt
What to do is writing from 0 to 9 and in the half make some spaces

Then put under what you wrote from 5 to 9 then from 0 to 4

5 6 7 8 9..0 1 2 3 4
You check the character of the word and you write the Numbers under it
9 = 4
1 = 6
6 = 1
6 = 1
8 = 3
1 = 6
0 = 5
5 = 0
7 = 2
2 = 7
so we get 4611365027 when it was 9166810572

Well ROT-18 is just combining ROT-5 With ROT-13 they figured the name out by adding 5 to 13 ...
