alsa is for general sound card, does not for SONY laptop device.

May be there are it's drivers in linux kernel.

This is the reason I wanted to recompile your kernel that day.

The driver for your sound card should be compiled in your kernel.

I think it's no need to check it's interrupt , just compile in is ok.
