SFU的特点：
   1--Interix子系统
           Interix子系统是一个基于windwos2000/nt/xp之上的完全整合的POSIX子系统，是基于windos内核之上的一个子系统 而不是一个unix仿真环境。




 它在windows操作系统上对unxi应用的编译和运行提供完全的支持。它为unix开发人员对运行于unix之上的应用提供了超过1900个ＡＰＩ和已有的ｓｈｅｌｌ脚本的完全支持。其他unix应用从而就可以简单而快速地重新部署到Interix上。

  Utilities. Provides commonly used utilities.

• Base utilities. Provides the Interix subsystem, a powerful, full-featured UNIX environment running as a separate subsystem on the Windows computer. Includes C and Korn shells, plus more than 350 utilities that run on the Interix subsystem. In addition, this component provides Windows-based administrator utilities and UNIX-style commands, plus the Windows-based Cron service for scheduling tasks and the Windows-based Telnet Client. Installing the base utilities also installs the Interix subsystem.

• UNIX perl. Allows perl scripts to be run on the Interix subsystem. Installing UNIX perl also installs the base utilities.

• Interix GNU components. Interix utilities and Software Development Kit (SDK) tools distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). See Files covered by the GNU Public License (GPL) for a listing of the files that are included in the Interix GNU components.
• Interix GNU utilities. Supplements the base utilities. Installing the GNU utilities also installs the base utilities.

• Interix GNU SDK. Software development kit (SDK) tools that supplement the Interix SDK. Installing the GNU SDK tools also installs the GNU utilities and the Interix SDK.

SFU提供unix和windos上共享文件：

    NFS 网关--Shares directories exported by UNIX NFS servers as Windows shared  directories, allowing Windows users to access them without installing NFS client software.
    You cannot install Gateway for NFS and Client for NFS on the same computer.


SFU提供WINDOWS和UNIX之间远程命令行方式访问：

   Telnet 客户机

   Telnet 服务机-Gives remote users the ability to connect to the server with any Telnet client software.

SFU 提供 一致的跨unix操作系统平台的脚本执行能力：
   Korn Shell
   C Shell
   超过350个unix常用的命令和应用
   在 NTFS和 NFS文件系统中支持文件联接
   单一根文件系统结构

采用Microsoft Windows Active Directory service（活动目录服务）的NIS服务器提供网络管理功能（Enables a Windows server to function as a Network Information Service (NIS) server, integrating NIS domains with Active Directory and giving Windows domain administrators the ability to manage Windows and NIS domains together.）

在windows和unix之间提供用户信息(包括口令)的同步 Makes it easy for users to maintain one password for Windows domains and UNIX systems, synchronizing them when one of them changes.

SFU安装采用windows提供的安装工具
  对SFU部件和服务的管理采用WIndows的 Microsoft Management Console(MMC)和 Microsoft Manegement Instrumentation（MMI）管理工具，或者采用命令行脚本方式管理

Windows Remote Shell service-Allows commands from remote computers to be run on the server.

Authentication tools for NFS.Allow NFS components to authenticate users:
    --User Name Mapping. Associates Windows and UNIX user names, allowing users to access files through Interix or to connect to NFS resources without having to log on to Windows and UNIX systems separately.
    --Server for NFS Authentication. Works with User Name Mapping and Server for NFS to allow UNIX users transparent access to files shared on Server for NFS. It should be installed on all domain controllers unless the functional level of the domain is Windows Server 2003 and Server for NFS is running only on Windows Server 2003 computers.
    --Server for PCNFS Similar to a PCNFS daemon (PCNFSD) running on a UNIX server.
          (注：PCNFS - Personal Computer Network File System 。There may be many popular meanings for PCNFS with the most popular definition being that of Personal Computer Network File System)

Interix SDK. A full-featured software development kit (SDK) that makes it easy to create applications to run on the Interix subsystem. Installing this component also installs the base utilities.
