Companies looking for outsourcing service should eye on China 
<P>Owing to increasing requirement for offshore IT outsourcing services in the near future; companies in countries such as India, Ireland and the Philippines will meet the trouble of limited outsourcing resources in more established markets for IT services. To bridge this gap, companies are already beginning to pay attention to China's vast quantities of skilled IT workers, even though China isn't expected to become a mature outsourcing service supplier until 2007, at the earliest. A new perspective for China's IT industry

<DIV>The undefeated role of India as Asia's greatest software outsourcing service provider is now challenged by China. 
<P>According to the National Association of Software and Services Companies, India has around 300,000 high-tec software professionals while China has an estimate of about 30,000-35,000 . And it was supposed that India's software exports could reach $6 billion in fiscal 2000-2001 with about $1 billion in China, which was only 1/6 that of Indian. However, this figures are discomforting many Indians who are worried that China's growing exponentially and cheaper labor force will probably beat India's offshore software development industry at last.
