Area51 is a CVS repository for KDE related ports. We
try to work out all the
bugs in area51, before they're checked into the main FreeBSD ports. To get
these ports, you just check out the area51 repository from CVS, then copy the
ports you want over into your main ports tree (/usr/ports).
You don't need an area51 account for read-only access. You can check out
anonymously with this command:
cvs -d:ext:anoncvs@orm.arved.priv.at:/home/kde-freebsd co area51
There is also a wiki with some information on area51 port status:
http://wiki.freebsd.org/KDE4
I hope this helps.
